Before contacting us

  1. Update Wormio and iOS or iPadOS.
  2. Close and reopen the app.
  3. Restart your device.
  4. Check your internet connection for iCloud, purchases or ads.

iCloud backup

Wormio can back up your progress to your own private iCloud, so you can restore it on a new device. Sound and haptics settings stay on the device.

  1. Make sure the same Apple Account is signed in on each device.
  2. Open iOS/iPadOS Settings → your name → iCloud and check that iCloud is available.
  3. Open Wormio Settings → iCloud (tap to open it) and check the status.
  4. Choose Sync now to back up. On a new device choose Restore from iCloud.

If iCloud is temporarily unavailable you can keep playing. Your progress stays on the device and syncs again when iCloud is back.

Remove ads and purchases

“Remove ads” is a one-time App Store purchase. It removes the ads between levels.

  1. Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
  2. Open Wormio Settings.
  3. Choose Restore purchases.

Apple handles billing and refunds. For a refund request, use Apple’s purchase-support service.

The shop also sells packs of XP and boosters. These are consumable: they are used up and are not restored with “Restore purchases”. If a pack you paid for did not arrive, close and reopen Wormio while online; the App Store delivers unfinished purchases again. Still missing? Contact us with the date of the purchase.

XP, the shop and the wheel

You earn XP by completing levels and the daily puzzle. Spend XP in the shop on undos, hints and extra bank slots. The wheel of fortune gives one free spin and three extra spins with a video, and everything comes back after 8 hours. Extra slots can only be bought in the shop, or won on the wheel as a rare prize.

Ads and bonus videos

You can always watch an optional video to earn a bonus, such as hearts back, an undo, a hint, a spin of the wheel or a streak rescue. These stay available after you remove the ads. The reward is given after the video completes.

If no video is available, check your connection and try again later. Availability can depend on consent, region and current ad inventory.

Streaks and shields

Win at least one level a day to grow your streak. Every 7 days in a row you earn a streak shield (you can keep two). If you miss exactly one day, a shield is used automatically. Without a shield you can rescue the streak by watching a video. Missing more than one day resets the streak.

Reminders

Wormio can send up to three reminders a day. Turn them on or off in Settings → Reminders. If you earlier chose not to allow notifications, switch them on in iOS Settings → Notifications → Wormio.

Levels, stars and progress

Your best result counts for every level, so you can replay a level to earn more stars without losing the ones you have. After a replay, “Next level” takes you back to your newest level. A full bank means the level is lost; an extra bank slot from a video lets you continue.

Privacy choices and deletion

Where required, ad consent can be reviewed in Settings → About → Privacy choices. To remove your iCloud backup, open Settings → iCloud → Delete iCloud data.
